Hi yall, so i am planning to use a cellular wireless interface because it is the only broadband i can get in my area since the DSLAM provider gone out of business, so i was planning on using the Sierra Wireless MC7710 for the pfsense firewall since its listed in the working modems doc, im planning on pairing it with a mini PCIe to PCIe adapter with a sim card slot and antennas, however im unsure if the OS will recognize the interface from the PCIe slot so it would be helpful if someone clarifies if this should work fine or i should need a bit of tweaking.

      Thanks

        Welcome!

I use an external LTE modem for failover WAN. Makes it transparent to pfSense.

        Depending which country and provider.
