I have been ruining AT&T VDSL with the pfSense 24.03 and I received my prefix delegations to my VLAN's by using the AT&T custom script that brings 8 PD addresses from the RG and I can assign with the PD offset.

With the Starlink I setup a standalone pfSense and tested that PD delegation works though normal configuration of requesting /56 from Starlink and a few other settings and made sure follow interface and index numbers works. Which they did.

This weekend I moved the Starlink over to my primary router and intended to use the Starlink in a gateway group for failover from AT&T since Starlink has the 50/month Roam program which seems to be a good deal I have the Starlink device in "Bypass" (It's real bypass unlike AT&T). Once I plugged it in all my VLAN interfaces and the AT&T WAN lost their IPv6 addresses. To get them back I had to "disable" IPv6 on the Starlink and then review the AT&T and received them back. As of right now I am only doing IPv4 gateway group and left the Starlink at IPv4 only.

The questions. Is this normal. Does multi Wan IPv6 not support carriers that use DHCP6?

I also looked that in order to properly address IPv6 failover one must use NPt where the /64 networks are replaced by the NPt substitution on each subnet. If I reconfigure my Interfaces with local private address FDxx:xxxx:xxxx:xxxx::0/64 and then setup the rules in NPt would I be able to get my DHCP6 addresses from both AT&T and Starlink along with the mapping to networks?

Any suggestions would be appreciated on other articles that may address Multiwan IPv6 failover.

      Thanks.
